DIRECTIONS:

A. Using Garden State Parkway (GSP): Driving on GSP SOUTH bound (coming from Newark, Bayonne, Jersey City, Secaucus, and other towns north of Edison): Take exit 131 for Rt 27, Iselin, Metuchen. Bear right off the ramp and drive a short distance – keep in the right lane. Turn right on to WOOD Avenue (road between 2 gas stations). At the next traffic light (Burger King to your left) turn left on OAK TREE Road. Set your trip meter, you will have to drive approximately 2 miles straight on Oak Tree Road before making next turn on Plainfield Road.

While driving on Oak Tree Road., you will pass Shop Rite, Dairy Queen, Jewish Community Center – YMCA, Dr. Mehta’s office (on Grove Avenue), and Devine’s Pharmacy. Traffic light after Devine’s Pharmacy is at Plainfield Road (Real Estate Agency to your left). To your right is New Dover Road (7-Eleven at the comer). Turn LEFT on to PLAINFIELD Road. You will have to drive approximately 2/10th of a mile for the office. DRIVE SLOW. Pass Chandler Road to your left and Lucinda Street to your right. Right after Lucinda Street turn left into driveway on 450 Plainfield Road (Across from Presbyterian Church).

A1. Driving on GSP NORTH bound (coming from Holmdel, Red Bank, Monmouth, Neptune, and other towns south of Edison): Take Exit 131 (PLEASE DO NOT TAKE Exits 131A or 131 B). Bear right off the ramp and drive a short distance – keep in the right lane. Turn right on to WOOD Avenue (road between 2 gas stations). B. Using NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE: Coming from South or from North – Take exit 11 for Garden State Parkway. KEEP EXTREME RIGHT AT TOOL BOOTHS. Take GSP NORTH (YES, NORTH) to exit 131 (DO NOT TAKE EXITS 131A OR 131B). Follow further directions from paragraph Al.

C. Using RT 1: Driving on Rt 1 SOUTH bound (coming from Jersey City, Elizabeth, Newark, Linden, Rahway, and other towns north of Edison): After Avenel, try to keep in the MIDDLE Lane. After Bertucci Pizza and McGuire Cadillac (to your left), and Clover Leaf Memorial Park (to your right), get in the right lane. Just before Staples, turn right along the side of Chinese restaurant. Make an immediate left on Montague Avenue. At the end of the ramp (stop sign), set your trip meter and turn RIGHT toward Green Street West (You have to go approximately 4 miles STRAIGHT before making your next turn on to Plainfield Road). As you are driving on Green Street, you are going through Iselin; Green Street will change to Oak Tree Road in Edison. Pass Iselin Library to your left, a Bank to your right, and get in the right lane. The next traffic light is at the crossing of Rt 27 (Lincoln Highway). Keep driving straight, and after Wood Avenue crossing (Burger King to your left), follow further landmarks and directions from Paragraph A.

C1. Driving on Rt 1 NORTH bound (coming from Highland Park, Brunswicks, and other towns further south of Edison): Take Oug handle) exit for Parsonage Road. Keep driving STRAIGHT on Parsonage Road; you will pass Menlo Park Mall to your left. Parsonage Road changes into James Street after the intersection of Rt 27. At the end of James Street, turn right at the T Junction (stop sign). Go up to the next traffic light (Dr. Mehta’s office at the comer), and turn left on to OAK TREE Road. Go straight (you will pass Devine’s Pharmacy), and at the next traffic light turn left on to PLAINFIELD Road. You will have to drive approximately 2/10th of a mile for the office. DRIVE SLOW. Pass Chandler Road to your left and Lucinda Street to your right. Right after Lucinda Street turn left into driveway on 450 Plainfield Road (Across from Presbyterian Church).

D. Using RT 27: Driving on Rt 27 SOUTH bound (coming from Elizabeth, Linden, Rahway, and other towns north of Edison): Follow Rt 27 south which curves to right after Rahway. After Iselin, turn right on Green Street (church to your right). Go straight; Green Street will change to Oak Tree Road. On Oak Tree Road, go up to Wood Avenue (Burger King to your left), and follow further landmarks and directions from paragraph A. (If you miss Green Street, go further 2 more traffic lights, and make a right turn on to Wood Avenue and follow further directions from paragraph A).

D1. Driving on Rt 27 NORTH bound (coming from Highland Park, Brunswicks, and other towns south of Edison): Follow Rt 27 North going toward Edison. After you pass Costco, look for a traffic light right after the underpass. From here, follow Rt 27 North (which curves to the left) approximately 1/2 mile. At the traffic light (with a grocery supermarket to your left) make a left turn on to Middlesex Avenue and an immediate right on CENTRAL Avenue. Drive approximately 2.1 miles STRAIGHT on Central Avenue + Plainfield Road (Central Avenue will change to Plainfield Road after St. Joseph’s High School). Office is across from Presbyterian Church.
E. Using RT 22: If near Garden State Parkway – take GSP South & follow direction from paragraph A.

If near Plainfields – take exit for Plainfields (You will drive STRAIGHT approximately 4 miles before making the next turn on Oak Tree Avenue). You will pass Muhlenberg Hospital to your left. Go further until you see Oak Tree Avenue (Hollywood Video Store to your left). Turn left on Oak Tree Avenue. Go about 1 mile to a traffic light (Krauszer’s to your left, Gas Station to your right), and turn right on PLAINFIELD Road; see further directions in paragraph A.

F. Using GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE: Take New Jersey Turnpike south and follow further directions as in paragraph B (Using N.J. Turnpike).

G. Using VERRAZANO-NARROWS BRIDGE: Coming from New York, after crossing the V-N bridge, follow signs for Outerbridge Crossing for NJ. After Outerbridge Crossing, take exit for Pfieffer Boulevard (KEEP TO THE RIGHT) and follow signs for Garden State Parkway North. Exit at 131 for Rt 27, Metuchen (DO NOT TAKE EXITS 131A or 131 B). Follow further directions from paragraph Al.

H. Using RT 9: Coming from Freehold area and other Towns nearby – Take Rt 9 North. Watch for signs for Garden State Parkway; take GSP North and follow further directions from Paragraph Al.

If you wish to continue on Rt 9, follow Rt 9 North. A short distance after the exit for GSP, you will go through Sayreville. Pass Amboy Cinemas to your right as you approach the Raritan River Bridge. After the bridge, try to stay in the left or middle lane. (From the left lane, you may take GS Parkway North and follow further directions from paragraph Al). If you stay in the middle or the right lane you may continue on Rt 9 North. Pass Hess building to your left; after that get in the left lane. Pass Miclas Muffler Shop on your left. Soon there will be a sign for Rt 1 South which comes out from the LEFT lane, so drive carefully and watchfully. Soon after you pass under a bridge, make a left turn exit for Rt 1 South. Turn right at the exit ramp stop sign. The first traffic light is at Rt 1, go through the light crossing Rt 1. From this point you have to go STRAIGHT 4 miles (on Green Street + Oak Tree Road) until after you see a traffic light with a Gas Station on your left and Krauszer’s Store on your right. Turn left here onto PLAINFIELD Road and follow further directions from paragraph A.

I. Using RT 18: From Rt 18, take Rt I North and follow further directions from paragraph Cl.

J. Using RT 287: Driving on Rt 287 NORTH bound: While driving north on route 287, after passing exit for Rt 1, take exit for route 27 North for Metuchen. At the ramp, turn right on Rt 27 North. Follow Rt 27 North (which curves to the left) approximately 1/2 mile. At the traffic light (with a grocery supermarket to your left), make a left turn on to Middlesex Avenue and an immediate right on CENTRAL Avenue. Drive approximately 2.1 miles STRAIGHT on Central Avenue + Plainfield Road (Central Avenue will change to Plainfield Road after St. Joseph’s High School). Office is across from Presbyterian Church.

J1. Driving on Rt. 287 SOUTH bound (coming from Somerville, Bridgewater, Morristown, Dover etc.): Take 287 South. After you cross exit for New Brunswick, you will see landmarks such as Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, Star Ledger, Next you will see exit for route 29 for Edison. DO Not take this exit. After Days Inn, try to come into the right lane, and watch the exit sign for Rt 501, Metuchen/New Durham. Stay to left at the exit ramp, and make a left at the light going toward Metuchen (501 East). Drive approximately 2/10th of a mile, and make a left turn by the side of the Gas Station. You are now on Durham Avenue. Go straight on Durham Avenue until you come to a traffic light with a restaurant facing you. Make a left turn here on Central Avenue. After you make a left turn on Central Avenue, the office is approximately 2 miles straight on Central Avenue + Plainfield Road; Central Avenue becomes Plainfield Road after St. Joseph’s High School.
