That is amazing

A 60-plus physician had a ¼ inch diameter fluid filled but firm NODULE on the back of the extensor TENDON of left middle FINGER close to the first interphalangeal joint following a hammer INJURY 15 years ago. The nodule mostly remained unchanged in size with mild discomfort only upon finger flexion for many years except after unusual activities, such as gardening, when it would become larger and slightly more painful. The size of the nodule grew to nearly ¾ inch in diameter during the past one year and became tender as well as more painful upon flexion of the middle finger. 

For previous aggravated symptoms, he tried anti-inflammatory medications many times with relief in pain but no change in the nodule. Three cortisone injections during the first 2-3 years of onset by an Orthopod failed to provide any resolution of the nodule except for temporary relief in pain.

He was given a single dose of homeopathic remedy (02/17/2010). Two days later, he happened to look at his finger and to his amazement, the swelling and nodule was completely gone as if it never existed. It was a response he could not believe as he kept looking at his finger. There was no more tenderness or pain upon flexion.   The only thing left was a very tiny about 2 mm size, rather flat, firm, non-tender palpable nodule at the site of old injury. 

The findings remained the same for 2 weeks after the dose without any recurrence. Long-term outcome will be updated later but the quick, short-term response for a 15-year old problem with structural changes within 2 days of a single dose of homeopathic remedy is TRULY REMARKABLE.

This logic-minded, scientific person, a practicing physician did not need any fancy research to convince him that homeopathic remedies do indeed work and that these remedies are not just the “sugar pills” or placebo. There is definitely some therapeutic action in these remedies that we do not clearly understand as yet (Ignorance should not mean un-scientific); and, scientists should make serious efforts to investigate it.
